A superb pair of mid-Victorian salt spoons maid by John Tongue, assayed in Birmingham in 1861. Clear hallmarks. Shell bowl with inset leaf. Twisted stem with bust at the terminal. Approximately 8.5 cms in length. Excellent quality.
